Case study

Project Central: a document warehouse for a deals team

SharePoint connected to an app, converting it into a document warehouse for a large transaction: every document a deals team needs - requested, received, reviewed and traceable.

Client: a global dual-listed groupSector: Mergers and acquisitions

The build

What the problem was, and what we did about it.

The problem

Due diligence runs on a document-request list, and the list is usually a spreadsheet that three people are editing at once.

What we built

A SharePoint site rebuilt as a document warehouse for the transaction: every request issued and tracked, every document received against its request, reviewed or returned with a query, and an audit trail that says who did what and when. Accountability and traceability for a deals team that used to run on a shared spreadsheet.
