Learn to build
A programme for newly qualified chartered accountants, and those eligible to register as a CA(SA), who want to build the software, not wait for it. You learn to design, build and ship real technology on the work our clients actually run.
Applications are open all year.
The programme
The CA(SA) Developer Programme is how we grow the people this firm is made of. You work alongside qualified CA(SA) developers, on the finance software our clients run on, and you come out of it with two things the market almost never sees in one person: the discipline of a chartered accountant and the craft of a developer. Each new employee undergoes a rigorous four-month developer upskilling period to ensure they can deliver at the highest calibre.

Questions
Answers to common questions about the CA(SA) Developer Programme.
Newly qualified chartered accountants, and those eligible to register as a CA(SA).
No. We look for aptitude, curiosity and a genuine interest in technology - not an existing portfolio. You will learn the development side from first principles, mentored by qualified CA(SA) developers.
At any time. Applications are open all year, and we read each one as it arrives.
Client work from the start: you sit inside a finance team's project with a CA(SA) developer, build part of it, and review somebody else's. Alongside it, structured time on the craft: the languages, the platforms and the agent workforce we build with.
Tools for finance teams and Appventure's own products - process monitoring, workflow orchestration, reporting and integrations. You will work on software that real finance teams use every day, which is also how you gain your financial management exposure.
The form on this page and your CV. If you have references or past projects that show your work, attach them too. If we need anything further, we will ask you by email.
