Products
What we're also building.
Product lines in the final stages of development and testing with the people who will run them: pay-at-table for restaurants, finance software for farms, a connected enterprise solution, and automated tax and accounting for small businesses. Each product is in its pre-release or testing phase.
Built and run by us, with partners who have skin in the game.
Joint venture
TapOut
Tables that settle themselves.

The table's bill as a guest sees it, and the screen after they have paid their share.
Why we built it
The bill is the slowest part of the night.
What it does
- Guests scan the permanent QR code on the table. It opens in the phone's browser: nothing to download and no account to create.
- They see the live bill straight from the till, with its items and its prices, updating as more is rung up.
- Each guest taps the items that were theirs, adds a tip if they like, and pays their share. Card details never touch TapOut.
- Where it stands
- In final testing ahead of launch.
- Who it's built with
- TapOut is its own company, built by Appventure with a partner and taken to market together.
Joint venture
FieldFinance
Farm operations, grounded in real numbers.

What it is
Farm finance software for South African farms. The finances in order, and informed decisions about profitability.
- Where it stands
- In private testing with our partner farmer.
- Who it's built with
- A joint venture with the farmers who use it: the spec was written with a farming business, and the partner farmer's improvements shaped the first version.
Collaboration
Ava
Just say it.

What it is
The connected enterprise solution: a WhatsApp assistant for every level of the business.
- Where it stands
- In final testing.
- Who it's built with
- Built with another chartered accountant, and taken to market as a product of its own.
Our own product
Outpost
Automated tax and accounting for South African individuals and businesses.

The month's plan for a sample company: the pay run, the books, the returns and CIPC, each with what is done and what is next.
Why we built it
One system to close the books, prepare the SARS returns, produce IFRS for SMEs financial statements, keep CIPC filings current, run the payroll and send the invoices.
What it does
- Upload bank statements and invoices. The AI classifies every transaction against your chart of accounts and asks you to confirm anything it isn't sure about.
- Generate monthly management reports and a full set of annual financial statements under IFRS for SMEs, with the notes.
- Every SARS return prepared for you to file: VAT, income tax, provisional tax and payroll, plus CIPC filings.
- Where it stands
- In private beta, by invitation.
- Who it's built with
- Built and run by Appventure, in our own accounts.
Every one of them started as somebody's spreadsheet.
